I know this may seem strange to others but my dad is going on his 4th wedding this weekend. On June 28th he will be married for the 4th time.. For the life of me I can't figure out why he would want to do it again but he does. He has lived with her for almost 7 years so why marry her now. Why not just let a good thing keep going as it has for those 7 years? I think if it's not broken, why fix it?
So this weekend we will all be heading down to his home to see the wedding go down. Rob will take pictures for them, as my dad really enjoys his candid shots. And I will be there supporting my dad like always. I know some of him wanting to get married again is due to religious beliefs and the fact that he loves her. He and I have different opinions on all of that. My thoughts are you don't need a piece of paper or law of the land to say who you can be with. If you love them then that is all that matters and everything else is just gravy.
SO HAPPY WEDDING DAY DADDY!! I hope you and your lovely lady are VERY VERY HAPPY for a long time to come..

Believe it or not, I'm Gary's 4th marriage. Scared the crap out of me when I found out he had been married 3 times before. But 4th time is the charm! Congrats to your dad - I hope he will be happy for a very long time!
